The Great Dane Club of New England is a non-profit organization dedicated to the purebred Great Dane, including the responsible care, breeding and exhibiting of Danes registered with the American Kennel Club. We support the interests and welfare of this breed and our members who love them. Owning a Great Dane is a lifelong commitment, and we are dedicated to responsible care and breeding and to public education to help protect and advance this wonderful breed.

News & Updates
MEETINGS: Our annual meeting, including election of officers, was held via Zoom on January 30. Watch for information on our next meeting.
SPECIALTIES & SUPPORTED SHOWS: The 2022 GDCNE fall specialties will were held Friday and Saturday, November 25 and 26, during the Thanksgiving Cluster shows at the Big E fairgrounds in West Springfield, Mass. Judges for Friday were Rick Gschwender (morning-designated specialty with Windham County KC) and Susan Yotive (afternoon-concurrent specialty breed and junior showmanship). Judges for Saturday were Sophia Kaluzniacki (morning-designated specialty with South Windsor KC) and Jennifer Bell (afternoon-concurrent specialty breed) and Chantel Johnson (afternoon sweepstakes). Congratulations to all the winners and to the show committee and other club members for a great job!
