Supporting purebred Great Danes
About GDCNE
The Great Dane Club of New England is a non-profit organization dedicated to the purebred Great Dane, including the responsible care, breeding and exhibiting of Danes registered with the American Kennel Club. We support the interests and welfare of this breed and our members who love them. Owning a Great Dane is a lifelong commitment, and we are dedicated to responsible care and breeding and to public education to help protect and advance this wonderful breed.

News & Updates
MEETINGS: Given the continued need for social distancing, our next general membership meeting will be held via teleconference at 7:30 P.M., Wednesday, November 18. Contact President Sue Shaw if you need information.
SPECIALTIES: Our four 2020 fall specialties are set for Saturday-Sunday, November 21-22, during the Thanksgiving Cluster shows at the Big E fairgrounds in West Springfield, Mass. On Saturday and Sunday, we will hold specialties concurrent with the South Windsor Kennel Club and Springfield Kennel Club all-breed shows. Click here for the concurrent specialties judging program or go to Infodog.com. Show chair is Laurie Maulucci. We will also consider the Dane classes at these two all-breed shows as designated specialties–making a total of four specialties over two days. The all-breed judging program can be found at Infodog.com. Because of COVID-19 precautions, these will be “show and go” with no spectators.
We won’t be able to have our usual raffle table, so we raffled off three fabulous toy baskets online via the Great Danes & Great Deeds Facebook group. Thanks to everyone who supported us!! If you’re not already a member of Great Danes & Great Deeds, please click here or go to
